UNDERSTANDING MATHEMATICAL EQUATION AS BASIS FOR IMPROVING STUDENTS’ PERFORMANCES IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Introduction
Mathematical Equation Technology, our work-solution, is a Disruptive Technology because it addresses the problem with a novel approach that has the potentials to disrupt the existing format in the mathematical textbooks and teaching methodology in Nigeria and world-over. Our work-solution is addressing massive failures in Mathematics in Nigeria by Training Mathematical Teachers in Secondary Schools on Application of Mathematical Equation Technology (MET) which will enable students better understand and pass Mathematics at credit levels, and consequently attain university education which serves as a pathway out of poverty. The MET is an inspirational innovation that links Natural Principles of Creation to equation, Equation drives mathematics, Mathematics drives education, Education drives development, Development drives productivity, and Productivity drives sustainability, while Sustainability in any economy enables countries achieve their respective Policy Objectives leading to a better overall health and growth of nations. The solution is all-embracing and sin qua non to science, technology, engineering, law, and mathematics not only for Nigeria but the whole World-wide; thereby paving way to walk out of ignorance and poverty that will subsequently lead to a world without hunger or greed.
